Our long time board member Gustav von Hertzen passed away on December 18, 2013 at the age of 83. Gustavs contribution to the SIAR organisation was substantial. As the President of Cultor and later on as Chairman of Hartwall he was during decades an important client to the SIAR international consulting arm. Later, as board member of the SIAR Foundation he was instrumental in the process of gaining new financial resources for research purposes and in the role to indentify and monitor ongoing research projects. The SIAR family is missing one of its most valuable members.
